Electronics was my fist love when it comes to dabbling, and I was inspired by my grandfather, Thomas Cockbain, who was pretty much an electronics genius. Unfortunately, I didn’t get his genius brain, but I did get lots of education, inspiration and support while inheriting his passion for all things “techie”

I grew up building and designing a whole bunch of electronic projects, mainly to support my mobile disco, but also for ham radio, packet switching, gym and exercise and of course audio and video. I went on to study Electronics (Light Current) at the university of Johannesburg and it has stood me in good stead for my career as a foundation for what I do.
